Kyanite comes commonly from Brazil. Kyanite is formed by aluminum-rich rocks, and is often associated with biotite, muscovite, almandine, staurolite, and sillimanite. This process is done at a relatively high pressure. A mineral found mainly in metamorphic rocks.
